San Holo man... there are no words thinking back on this night. I told the girls for the weeks leading up to the concert that I was going to sit this one out. With the holidays approaching and over ten concerts under my belt for the semester already, I was dead set on staying home. As the concert got closer, I found myself wanting to bandwagon and go just like everyone else was but sadly the concert was sold out. I found this odd as I did not think San Holo was that popular but there he was. An hour before the girls were planning to leave I was super sad that I couldn't go. Thanks to an extremely nice man in Indiana, I was offered a ticket for cheap and was able to go.
As this was a LITERAL last minute decision, it made the concert ten times better as I had zero expectations for the night. Poor sick Chet Porter opened (who I had seen before) but made me feel awful as he was drinking tea on stage and trying to do his best. Kaska Black also opened, someone I hadn't heard of before but listen avidly to now as I was blown away by his music. By the time San Holo came on, I had found myself in a trance.
Coming from someone who has played the guitar for eight years now and has a greater appreciation for it, I was beyond impressed with him in too many ways. San Holo shredded the guitar the entire night, mixed and sang. He was incredible and I have never had more fun with my best friends in my life. We all knew he was going to end with "Light", and to say it was a euphoric moment would be an understatement.
