REZZ ROUND II.

Not that I'm complaining, but within the past few months of being back at school in Grand Rapids, there has been a ridiculous number of amazing artists performing all over Michigan. End of summer festivals, Clozee, ZHU, Nghtmare, Seven Lions, Chris Lake, Boogie T, Rezz... My bank account is desperately telling me to chill out, but I can't help myself.

After seeing Seven Lions in Grand Rapids on Wednesday, I was informed that Rezz was coming to Detroit just two days later on the east side of the state. After contemplating for hours, I decided I should probably stay home. My post-concert high was clearly getting the best of me. [Define Post-Concert High: the feeling you get after going to a concert or music festival and as soon as the euphoric feeling is unfortunately over with, you immediately crave it again]. I decided that my internal mental conflict could only be decided with a 50/50 coin toss. Unfortunately, it was decided I was not going. Not only an hour had gone by before I realized... Nope, I'm going.

After driving 3 hours to Detroit, buying a ticket just hours before and convincing Nicole and Chandler to join me, we were at REZZ! To add to the amazing night, Boogie T was opening the concert (our second time seeing him after Grizmas 2017). I wish I could finish this blog post by gushing over how amazing REZZ was, but she hypnotizes you. From start to end, her spooky Nightmare on Rezz Street visuals kept my eyes glued to the stage and my ears blessed by her music. She's legendary for a reason... Just go experience it, then we'll talk.
