Why spend hours in a library when you can spend them at the beach?
During final exam week of my sophomore year, I found that I spent more time at Grand Haven Beach than in the actual library. With motivation at an all time low and warm weather at a record high, I could not help but drive myself to Lake Michigan. Not only did I avoid studying for my exams but I went TWICE in one day. I started my Monday with Leah, soaking up the 75 degree weather and contemplating summer plans. I ended my day by watching a chilly sunset with Jackie and Jordan, after indulging in Pumphouse froyo of course [See Sweet Tooth].
I'm grateful that I chose to not overwhelm myself with the pressures of college during my final week in Grand Rapids. I'm glad I could still finish strong on my exams, but also create a memorable and relaxing last week with the people closest to me.
See you soon, West Michigan.
